\r\n*Udhampur Police Attaches Properties Worth ₹ 2 Crore of Drug Peddlers Shakti Singh and Koushal Sharma in Two separate NDPS Cases*\r\n\r\nIn a major crackdown against drug trafficking, Udhampur Police has attached immovable and movable properties worth approximately Rs 2 Crores belonging to drug peddlers under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act, in connection with cases registered at Police Station Rehambal.\r\n\r\n*CASE–1:*\r\nImmovable property worth approximately ₹1.30 Crore belonging to *Shakti Singh S/o Tarlok Singh R/o Ward No. 17, Shankar Nagar, Udhampur* has been attached in connection with *FIR No. 72/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Rehambal*.\r\nThe attached property includes:\r\n\r\n*Pucca residential house along with 01 Kanal of land falling under Khasra No. 491/593, situated at Shankar Nagar, District Udhampur.*\r\n\r\n*CASE–2:*\r\n\r\nImmovable and movable properties worth approximately ₹70 Lakh belonging to *Koushal Sharma @ Biru S/o Kaka Ram R/o Kambal Danga, Udhampur* have been attached in connection with *FIR No. 113/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Rehambal.*\r\n\r\nThe attached properties include:\r\n*Pucca residential house along with 01 Kanal of land falling under Khasra No. 618, situated at Kambal Danga, District Udhampur.* and *Vehicle Mahindra Bolero bearing Registration No. JK14G-7724.*\r\n\r\nDuring the course of investigation, detailed financial scrutiny and backward linkage analysis established that the above-mentioned properties were acquired through proceeds of illicit narcotics trafficking. Based on these findings, the competent authority has passed the attachment orders today, and further proceedings under the NDPS Act are underway.\r\n\r\n*Udhampur Police’s NDPS property attachment tally for the year has now reached ₹21.5 crore, showcasing its sustained offensive against Drug Peddlers.*
